Building The Mealcloud Windows Interface

by lee on April 8, 2011

We have been working on the first version of the Mealcloud Windows interface and for me it has been a great  learning experience . My first brief I gave my development team was to build an application which is light, super functional and would not look out of place in a Google product line up. I decided against the use of lots of heavy graphics which look pretty but slow down performance which is critical in the use of the product.

The team are using a number of Microsoft technologies including c# and SQL server fused with some open source platforms  for added flexibility and scalability! I would love to go more indepth with what they have used and and how they have done it but I’m afraid you will have to wait as its something that will be released on our developer Vlog very soon.

I can however provide you with an early screengrab of our Fast Food software. As you will see its an alpha development  build which is more about usability than design!
